Greetings? Love?

Hi! I need some input on letter-writing: What do you usually say at the beginning of a postcard or mail when you're on holidays? Something like "Hi .... Greetings from the Bahamas!" Or "Hi ... Love from the Bahamas!" I should add that I need informal and affectionate expressions. Thank you so much for your ideas!
