Greetings from

hello!

what would be the correct way to say that the guests at an event will hear (via video) the greetings from e.g. a customer who was unable to attend. Something like this: 'Ladies and gentlement, we will now hear a greeting from X'.

does this sound good or is there something better?

Ladies and gentlemen, Mr X was unable to attend today/tonight, but he would like to say a few words via video to you now.
