greeting

Season greetings. What does it mean?

Top answer

It's actually 'Season 's Greetings'. We write it on cards which we send to our friends at Christmas time and the New Year, hoping they will have a happy time.

Thanks, Rover,
But sometimes I receive it not on Christmas,
For example before the start of new academic year. Is it OK?
Can I use it for other holidays?
