greatly

Hi,
Is it right the way I've used "greatly" in the following sentence? Is there any other problem with the text?

"Their findings showed that background noise at various ratios of S/N greatly impacts the auditor's ability to perceive the words, and using earplugs does not disrupt speech recognition at low levels of continuous and constant noise."

Thank you!

  • The comma after 'words' is strictly wrong, but I'd keep it for clarity's sake.
