greatest player to (ever) live?
Hello all!
I know I can say:
1) He is the greatest player to have ever lived. (heard this during Wimbledon 2015)
But! Can I say:
2) He is the greatest player to (ever) live?
I know there are plenty of other phrases e.g. He is the greatest player ever etc. However here I am focused on the second construction only.
