Hi people,

long time no see. Been on holidays Emotion: smile

I came across this problem while looking for synonyms on the word 'long life'. I thought of 'greater lenth of days', but I'm doubting whether 'greater' is the right word to use here?

Hi Vince,
As far as I know "length of days" is a phrase from the Bible (Proverbs ch.3; vs.2) and means more or less "long life"... So, adding "greater" might not be necessary.

If I read "greater length of days" I would think it was an awkward way to refer to the fact that after the vernal equinox, the days get longer. I would not make an associate with "long life" unless the context gave is specifically.
