0Gray mists were slowly moving before the first efforts of the sunrays.02br

00I'd appreciate if you could explain to me "before", What does it look like? 02br

00Why are the nouns in plural? "mist" and "effort" are non-countable nouns. When non-countable nouns are used in plural, I am confused. Does "mists" mean waves of mist? "efforts" mean making efforts many times? Do they have other meanings? Thank you very much.0-

00We may say perhaps that the gray mists move like sheep in front of a dog as the sun rises. It is my opinion that it is perhaps a metaphor for the dispersal of mist by the morning sun. 05002br
