Gravitating towards vegetables...

Hi

Does the underlined part sound natural to native ears?

A - Are you a vegetarian?

B - No, I am not. But I am gravitating more and more towards vegetables these days.

Thanks,

Tom

To me it sounds faintly humorous (juxtaposition of grand word "gravitating" with mundane word "vegetables").

"Gravitate" - Do you mean earthy root vegetables such as parsnips, carrots, goobers, yams, turnips and potatoes?

It sounds natural enough to me. It doesn't strike me as particularly unnatural anyway.
