Grateful present or gift?

I am not native English and I am doubting about the right wording for a Birth announcement. Do you say "A grateful present" or "A grateful gift". And is it weird to put this on a birth announcement?

Thanks!

No, it's not right. People can be grateful. Presents and gifts cannot be grateful (even if in this case the gift is a person!).
