grasp, grip, grab

0 I'm so confused with these three verbs. What's the 01u00biggest02u00 difference between them? I know that I can use "grasp" when I want to say if I understand something or not ("I grasp the ideo of...). Can I use any of the other two for this purpose? I'd be very grateful if you could explain this to me clearly. Thanks.0-
