Grape and grapes

Hi I have a question. I appreciate your help!

a.) I like grapes and bananas.
b.) I like grape and bananas.

Which one is correct?

I thought "grape" should be always plural, but I've heard someone say like b.

Thank you!

no grapes are plural unless

you really are talking about one single grape, or

you are talking about grape juice (never grapes juice, but that's the same rule for all fruit juices).
