Grandchild

My son and daughter in law are expecting a child, what relationship would they be to my husbands brothers son.

What do "they" refer to in your question? I assume you are referring to your son and your daughter in law, in that case the fact that they are having a child is irrelevant to your question. Anyhow, if you are talking about your grandchild and your husband's brother's son, they would be cousin, or second cousin to be more exact.
