Would faced out be hypenated in the following question: "But the car is faced-out, correct?"

If you mean that the car is oriented in an outward direction, no hyphen and not really a good word choice:

'But the car is facing out, correct?'

With all the speakers of Spanish here in California, it's the first thing I thought of. There's no /z/ in Spanish, so /s/ is the logical substitute. Here we water the rossiss we like to race in our gardence, and listen to jass.
