Hi all,
I wrote this reply to my prospective supervisor. Is it grammatically correct? help me

Dear Prof. xxxx,

Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to read my email and considering my request. All of your research area fascinates me and I would be happy to contribute any of these ongoing projects.
It would be an honor to work with you and your research group. I look forward to further discuss this matter after your return from South Africa.
Thank you again for your time and consideration.

That is not a possible structure. 'Look forward to doing...' is correct.

That is an unusual supposition. Researchers normally have a single area.
