Grammer check?

As aforementioned, I was chemistry major but I insisted on taking this course, even though I was not a biology major at the moment but still given the fact I am captivated by the most complex organ of the body "The Brain", i decided to take neurology. Such factors as work schedule, financial need, and grades of other course, I had to pick the least important course to my major at that time, which is neurology, ironically my favorite course.

is my grammer correct?

No, I"m sorry, and to be honest, I have no idea what you're trying to say. Your first sentence is too long and I got lost. You had to pick a course for what?
