Hi anon;

Which one of these would you say:

Will you play ball with I?
Will you play ball with me?

The rule is the same with your sentence. Choose the word that goes after "with."

Anonymous…with my husband and I or
…with my husband and me.
Both are in use, but I would recommend choosing the accusative case in a test question.

Use the pronoun me, along with other objective pronouns such as us, him, her, you, and them, when the pronoun is the object of a preposition.

Good advice, but in this case it is not the pronoun that is the object of a preposition but rather the coordination my husband and I/me.

I always thought that you should pick me when it is not the subject.
In this case 'they' is the subject so we should pick 'me' instead of 'I'

He wants to play with Bob and me.
Bob and I want to play with him.

I always follow the above mentioned examples.

And I would suggest that you continue to do so.
