why sometime they use "had i gone through" instead of "had gone through"
like ...i should indeed have finished the autobiograohy had i gone through my full imprisonment at yervda....

had I gone through is another way of saying if I had gone through . In other words you can leave out 'if' if you invert the subject and the verb form had . had I seen it = if I had seen it had you been here = if you had been here had they paid on time = if they had paid on time CJ
