what is noun clause and adjective ciause

Here is the general idea.

noun clause A clause that can be used in the same way a noun is used.

eg The movie was exciting. (Sentence with a noun)

eg What happened yesterday was exciting. (Sentence witha noun clause.)

adjective clause A clause that describes something or someone, just as an adjective describes sometthing.

eg Tom has a red car.(Sentence with an adjective)

eg Tom has a car which is red. (Sentence with an adjective clause.)

eg Tom has a car which he likes. (Sentence with an adjective clause. Note that an adjective clause does not have to contain an adjective.)
