Grammatically correct?

"I would like to buy some samples or maybe place a small order of 100 pieces to see our customer feedback".

I'm not sure about the part of "or maybe", does the sentence below sounds better?

"I would like to buy some samples or even place a small order of 100 pieces to see our customer feedback".

Context: A business wants to try new products from a manufacturer.
