Thank you. I was confused because I was told by a member in the forum that, specifically, the use of 'in guiding me' in the sentence does not make grammatical sense, and that I should write 'the paper will act as a guide, informing me what to study', but I was not convinced. So, there is nothing wrong with 'in guiding me' in that sentence and it makes sense, right?
