Grammatical Question

When using the future perfect tense "to forget" would it be:

a. Jane will have forgotten to feed the pets.

or

b. Jane will have forgot to feed the pets.

I'm working on an english project and this one seems a bit puzzling.

Both forms of the past participle are acceptable. I believe that, like 'gotten', the '-en' form is more common in AmE. PS: I am moving this post to the Grammar Forum.

As Mr. M says, "got", "forgot" is British English; "gotten", "forgotten" is American English.
We do understand each other quite well, however!
