Grammatical functions

hello everyone, i really need your help.
i want to give an analysis of the following two clauses in terms of grammatical functions.
1) she cut the cheese with a knife.
"she"= the subject?, "cut"= verb or predicate?,"the cheese"= object?, "with a knife"= an adjunct or an optional adverbial of manner??
2) she dropped the coffee pot in the study.4
same here
she=subject?, dropped=predicate or verb?,in the study=optional adverbial of place or optional adverbial? and what about direct and indirect objects?
