Grammatical errors in the sentence

Could you kindly advise if there any grammatical errors in the following sentence? If so, please advise how I can improve it.

I thought the engineers had fixed the noise yesterday, but unfortunately,they hadn't. I have heard reports that suggest the noise is still going on in the building.
