Grammatical errors if any

Hello, everyone. I’d like you all to check if there is included any grammatical error in the composition I’ve written below in response to the topic “What’s the best advice you’ve ever got by your family member? And why?” Personally, I can’t come up with any real heartwarming anecdote, so I’ve made up one like this: The best advice I’ve ever got is my mother’s one that I shouldn’t answer the phone just because it rings. She said that if I’m with a family member or a friend, that person takes precedence over whoever might be calling. I still try to focus on the people I’m with regardless of the situation, and enjoy the good friendship.
