Grammatical choice.

Can anyone explain to me in few words what is the meaning of "Negotiating grammatical choice (based on synonymic patterns: verb tenses)"?!

Top answer

My understanding of that is to deal with grammatical choices of differrent verb patterns of tenses, moods and voices that are used with the same meaning. But it's rather my guess, merely speculation, nothing more.
