Please explain the error in these sentences.

He worked hardly all night.

The weather is more hot here than in France

2. The weather is hotter . ("hot" has one syllable, so you make it "hotter").
3. I was there last week . (you use past simple because you specify hte moment in time eg: last week/month, in 1993...) 

 At 1 ...I'm not so sure, but I would make it "He has hardly worked at night".
