Grammar_Use of "Fulfill"

Could you check whether the following sentence is correct? "I am attracted to the prospect of fulfilling my career and my personal life in the vibrant city of New York."
In particular, I am wondering (i) whether the verb "fulfill" can be combined with such words as career and life, and (ii) the second "my" can be omitted in this context (just "my career and personal life), and (iii) the term "in the vibrant city of New York" is grammatically correct when I never mentioned New York in previous sentences. Thank you in advance for your help!!!!

If it were my application, I would write:

"I am attracted to the prospect of pursuing my career and fulfilling my personal aspirations in the vibrant city of New York."

i - Yes
ii - It could, but I wouldn't; it is more effective if kept.
