"Deposit of abandoned wages and respective penalties

We hereby inform the business community and other interested parties that the wages of employees presumed to have abandoned the job, as well as fines imposed on employees as a result of disciplinary proceedings, shall be deposited into the bank accounts of the Provincial Departments of the General Labor Inspectorate, open exclusively for that purpose under the provisions of paragraph * of Article ** of Decree **/2009, of August 14.

Thus, if employers are confronted with complaints from employees for the payment of the wages abandoned and penalties, they should direct them to the Provincial Department of the General Inspectorate of Labor, of which the deposit has been made."
