Grammar/correctness of the sentence

When you are dealing with a client on a call and need to tell him what your system is showing then is the following sentence correct or not-
"what I am showing here is ...."

No because you are not showing anything, the system is. You need to say

The system here is showing..'
or
'What I am seeing here is...'

Nona's argument could be right in the strictest of senses, but nevertheless, this is a perfectly natural and correct collocation. It's easy for any one of us to see one situation to the exclusion of others. Language covers so many different situations and it's not always easy to see all situations.
