I have 3 different grammar questions/doubts to share with you.
1) a) If one person says: I was tired yesterday. Should I answer: "So was I"? or "So did I"? In my opinion, the first one sounds correct. b) One student asked me (when I was teaching "So do I") the difference to saying "Me too". Is it that So do I is more formal?
2) I read in one 5th form students book (More 2) a sentences starting: "On the morning of the audition...." I would have said "In the morning...." Does the preposition change because of the "continuation" of the sentence?
3) Can someone ask in the Present Perfect and receive an answer in the past? I would say yes, but I wanted to know your opinion....
Thank you in advance for your help!

1)a)If someone said: "I was tired yesterday", the two most common answers would be "So was I" and "me, too".
