Grammar test: which one is the right answer?

Hello out there!

I`ve recently sat an exam and found a few of the questions in the tasks particularly confusing. Given these answers, which one is right?

He had his flat redecorated, ____ he?

A. hadn`t

B. didn`t

I chose B, but I had never before come across such a tag.

Are you staying with me? - Unless you ___ .

A. will resist

B. resist

I marked A because B sounds incomplete to me.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

To me, A. 'Hadn't' sounds correct. And in your second sentence, B. 'resist' sounds ok. However, it'd have been more appropriate if the sentence had been "You're staying with me, unless you resist."

Had your first sentence been "He did get his flat redecorated", 'didn't he?' would have made more sense. I think, we should keep the tenses parallel. Did with Did & had with had. Thus, it'd be he had his flat redecorated, hadn't he?

2. You're staying with me - seems like an order. Therefore, You're
