Hi, I was asked to teach English few months ago and had to hit ground running. I am not very familiar with all the grammar and essay writing since I left school years ago. Could you advise on the correct answer for the questions below?
1) Lunch was served at 12 o'clock. (Is the phrase "at 12 o'clock" an adverbial phrase OR an adjectival phrase?) The answer key given was adjectival phrase, but I think it should be adverbial phrase.
2) How do you write "the car that belongs to my brother's father-in-law" OR is it better to say my brother's relative?
Thank you.

" At 12 o'clock" is a preposition phrase functioning adverbially.. "The car that belongs to my brother's father-in-law" is fine.
