Is this grammatically correct: "Where would you I (verb) the (noun)?"

It appears to me to be correct (as a question of preference), but an antiquated form no longer used today. What say ye, fellow grammarians?

Or: "Where would you have me place the napkin?"
Less antiquated, No?

I say I would not even have tried to contextualize it.
I would have said "no"!
