Grammar question no. 77

Dear All,

Would you please be so kind and try to answer my question about the highlighted part?

A: We have another guitar that might be of interest. It's called Yari J35.
B: Hmm. I could have a look at it... but... I'd rather go for Epiphone EJ200. Would it be possible to order it? It's a very popular guitar that's been produced for many years. It should be easy to get it.

Is it correct to use that's in this sentence?
Would it be better to say ...and it has been produced...
Would it change anything as far as meaning goes?

Thanks!

"and it has been produced" doesn't flow quite as well for common speech, partly because you've been putting "it's... I'd... It's" just before it and are now suddenly using "it has" rather than "...and it's been produced...".

Thanks Meteorquake,

Actually, the reason why I didn't use the contraction was purely accidental... Had I used it's been would it change your opinion?

My focal point is actually ihatn regards with what's the difference between it and that.

Someone who studies grammar might be able to comment better, but it seems more of a grammatical difference here: 'and' joins two sentences together with greater equality, whereas that/who/which join a secondary statement onto a primary one; 'that' regularly comes across as a more distant/reported form of 'who'/'which'.

A further small point, about articles with product names.
