Grammar question no. 75: past tenses in one sentence
Dear All,
I'd like to ask about the arrangement of tenses in the following sentence:
Dear XYZ I forgot that you'd told me you didn't receive the document we talked about before the holiday. Hope this time it'll get through to you. I'm not quite sure if the past simple is used correctly here. Perhaps it should also be used in the other parts of the sentence?
I forgot that you'd told me you hadn't received the document we had talked about before the holiday.
Thanks
