Grammar question no. 67: Japan has... their...

Dear Users,

This question is probably as old as the world itself but... In the following sentence:

Japan has their "Honda" and China has their "Haoda."

1) Is is correct to say that a country has (in this case a brand called Honda)
2) If we use has then perhaps it should be followed by its or her rather than their?
3) Should be put brand names in inverted commas?
