Grammar question no. 34 - I made a mistake in "make sb do sth"

Hi,

I made a mistake in a conversation with a native speaker. This is what I said:

Yesterday I failed at negotiating with my landlord. I wanted him to go down on the rent and he just wouldn't go down even one bit. I think that's because I had the losing position. He made me to come to his office, which made me feel like he had the high ground. I was the dog chasing after the master.

I think I should have skipped to in that sentence.

If there are any other mistakes you see here, I'd be grateful for your corrections.
