Hello everyone,

I have a quick question here.

Suppose I am about to leave my home but I am not yet.
Should I say: I am not leaving my apt yet?
or
I haven't left my apt yet?

Also, Can we use 'yet' in present tense?

I suppose "apt" means "apartment", right? In the UK, the abbreviation "apt" is not used in ordinary text and may confuse. I guess from what you say that it is more familiar in the US?
