Hi English experts,
please mark my English grammar,thanks.My senior came to work today in view of a fever, she had been on leave for two days, in the afternoon she badgered me at workplace normally and I could be reticent only.

Why can't I use 'in view of' to replace 'because of'?

This is fine. 'In that' makes the speaker sound thoughtful and educated. More common would be 'because'.
