1. "LaLanne is recovering from heart valve surgery at his home in Morro Beach, Calif."

2. LaLanne is recovering at his home in Morro Beach, Calif. from heart valve surgery."

2. LaLanne is recovering at his home in Morro Beach, Calif. from heart valve surgery.”



Both are correct grammar. #1 is less clear about where the surgery was done.
