I would like to know the difference between the following sentences,
1. I told that the company is holiday this Friday. 2. I am told that the company is holiday this Friday.
My understanding is, 1. I knew that company is holiday this Friday, and I told to someone. 2. Somebody told me that company is holiday this Friday. I didn't know that.
Is that correct?
