Grammar query

0 Hello, everyone. My husband and I were debating a certain sentence structure. Which is correct - "He 01b00recommended that we write you 02b00immediately" (my version) or "He 01b00recommended that we should write you 02b00immediately" (his version)? Please explain the rationale for your answer. I have a feeling this has something to do with the subjunctive, but I'm not sure. Thanks very much for your help. 0The misconception is that, the verb still requires the third person singular rule and the use of modal / aux word is acceptable But in this type of structure with verbs [as highlighted in blue], no 's' is required. There is a name for this type pf words which esacpes me at the moments. Maybe other experts can shed of light on this.02br
