1. The shop has permanently closed. or The shop is closing down permanently.

2. I had dinner at Thai restaurant last night. or I went to a Thai restaurant for dinner last night.

2. I had dinner at a Thai restaurant last night. or I went to a Thai restaurant for dinner last night.

Which one is correct? They are all correct English. But with differences in meaning.
