Grammar on conditional sentences

What is the right sentence to say among:

If you go to New York, WOULD you visit Niagara Falls?
If you go to New York, WILL you visit Niagara Falls?

If the meeting WAS canceled, won`t you have lunch with us?
If the meeting WERE canceled, won`t you have lunch with us?

I`d appreciate too if someone explain me WHY.
