Grammar literature?

Hi guys,

I have browsed this forum from time to time, and find it a really useful tool.

Just wondering if any of you have recommendations for specific books, so I can study the basics of grammar.

I am an English speaker, so it would not be necessary to be very basic..

If permitted by the forum rules, I would appreciate any links, e.g. amazon.

Again, thanks all and look forward to your responses.

Marie.

Hi Marie,
Have you read Elements of Style? That's a good one to start with.

(Interestingly, in case you didn't know, the same E.B. White who wrote Stuart Little and Charlotte's Web is the same "White" in that book.)
