Grammar - lay vs lie

Are these sentence gramatically correct-

1. I lie my head on the pillow when I am tired. (present)

2. I lay my head on the pillow when I was tired. (past)

3. Would it be correct to say " I lie my head down on the pillow when i am tired." or " I laid my head down on the pillow" when i am tired ?
