Can you correct the sentences here?

a If you try to hurry up, you'll end up taking longer than you would have had you taken your time to begin with.

b There is no point in drinking so much that you can't even walk.

c You answered my question before I even asked it as if you knew for sure what I was about to ask.

d Just because I'm staring at you doesn't mean I like you.

e The pants are too small at around the waist so even if I were to alter the length, it still would work.

f I was scared that there was vanilla in the cake so I didn't eat any.

g I was burnt as a child in 3rd degree.

h I'll let the actors improvise because as someone who once was in front of the camera, I would have liked to be able to improvise.
