Grammar in context

Hello everyone,
Does anybody know if there are sites that offer english grammar exercices IN CONTEXT, i.e., PARAGRAPHS and not sentences that should be completed with the correct verb form, modal, prepostion, quantifier, article, pronoun, etc.? And exercices on sentence transformation for an advanced level?
Thank you very much for you help.

  • At least sentences are usually easy enough to write, but even with a single simple sentence, there is all too often a reasonable choice of forms.
  • I would suggest that you select a text you are certain is written in high-level standard English of the dialect of your preference and ask one of your friends to delete every 10th (or 5th or 20th) word, or perhaps, delete every 5th or 10th preposition, verb form, modal, etc, and then provide you with a list of all the words deleted, which you can look at after you've gone through once or twice and tried to fill in the blanks blind.
