Grammar hlep please?

Hi,

Could you kindly advise which word is correct in these two sentences?


Generally speaking people are innocent until proved / proven guilty.

It is proved /proven that it works.

Only "proven" is correct. You need the past participle form of the verb. prove -->proved --> proven This is because we are using the passive ( until they are proven guilty )

Only "proven" is correct.
