Grammar helped needed with these sentences?

Could you please help me correct these sentences grammatically?

1 I asked my dentist for a mounth piece as I would always be clenching my teeth at night./as I clench my teeth....
2 The later she gets here, the more time we can spend together.
3 I asked what the last we could come was.
4 All they will ever be is/are friends.
5 There is no reason for me to be there/present.
6 Don you understand why I don't /wouldn't want to be there.
7 When you are lying next to me, I know I'm not alone in this bleak world and I feel fortunate that I have someone who loves me the way you do.

2 The later (do you mean "earlier"?) she gets here, the more time we can spend together.
